Taking place tomorrow in Hamilton, Ontario is the William Livingstone Memorial Invitational contest. Amongst a great field of competitors, James P. is back for the third year in a row and vying for the coveted prize. Below is his stunning performance from 2010.
We also received news of the passing of Darleen Mijariha/Milloy after living with multiple scerosis for twenty years on May 11, 2011. Darleen was a prolific solo bagpiper in the 1980s and served as a member of the Simon Fraser University Pipe Band for many years. She was staple in the Vancouver piping community and a great friend of the Troys. She will be sadly missed. (pipes|drums article)
