For those of you who were lucky enough to get to California last weekend, it was the Queen Mary Scottish Festival. Alex Gandy, a brand new member of the LA Scots Pipe Band, was down there representing Canada and JWT the best he knew how: sweeping the Professional piping contest with all firsts! That's our boy!
For a complete breakdown of results, we are providing the link juice to www.pipesdrums.com.
If you are a member of the JWT Reedmakers Facebook Group, take a moment to listen, watch and enjoy the clip of Alex and soon-to-be-winning-the-prizes drummer, Brennan Foley (son of LA Scots bass drummer extraordinaire, Steve Foley and probably one of the most elegant and beautiful highland dancers out there, Natalie Hall-Foley) in their kitchen piping performance! Super cute.
